All over a charging issue that most likely was a cracked joint on em8 as I usually find. Em8 filter was unsalvagable so replaced with one from a parts board. I have yet to see thru hundreds of SP’s an actual charge port that is faulty, once I’ve seen a cracked joint on the charging pin. I've had this thing since like 2005 and had no idea lol. There is a USB-C mod that DOES allow the use of audio through the USB-C port replacement with USB-C headphones/USB-C aux adapters.
